Martin Tanaka has been in the Charlotte Japanese restaurant industry for over 25 years and has been an owner for 20 years. With a Japanese background of his own, and training from an authentic sushi chef (whom the restaurant is named after), Martin and the Noboru team is looking forward to giving you the best experience possible. The name Noboru means to ascend or rise, and that is exactly what this restaurant is aiming to do for the Lake Norman area.
